Kagu effortlessly blends into a wide variety of living and working spaces – both as a stand-alone piece or as part of a large dining room ensemble. Harmonious lines, precise geometries give the chair an air of lightness, yet also robustness. The slender wooden legs of either solid natural oiled ash, oak or lacquered, connected by a central stabilising wooden cross, provide the architecture for the seating surface, which appears to float in the frame. Under-seat suspension enhances user comfort and adds movement.

Suspended between beauty and comfort. No matter how you look at the Kagu chair designed by Jehs + Laub, it never fails to delight. This is due to the ingenious angles at which the long, conical legs ascend. As well as the wave-sprung seat shell, which is suspended halfway up the solid wood frame, making Kagu appear delicate. And together with the flexible backrest, which is also sprung, it is extremely comfortable. There’s definitely only one way of looking at it.
